Welcome to the West Michigan Outlaws Travel Baseball
On behalf of all the coaches and board members of the West Michigan Outlaws; we would like to welcome you to our program. This program is designed to teach and instruct young baseball players and develop the necessary skills to compete at the high school level and beyond.
The teams that are fielded by our program will compete against other travel programs in Michigan and the surrounding states. It will be the goal of the organization to provide training, both indoor and out, that will enhance the skills and abilities of our players. We will enlist the help of local high school and college coaches, former college players, and other trainers to help each and every one of our players reach peak performance. Coaches will try to have a 1:1 practice to game ratio to keep players learning and improving upon the skills needed to compete in our tournaments and leagues.
Where Are We Headed?
The 2012 season will start with indoor training the second Sunday of January at The Warning Track located inside Morgan's Hitting Club and GRCC. Indoor training will run every Sunday and last until roughly the last week of March (weather permitting) when we can get outdoors. Full travel teams will compete in the Grand Rapids Amateur Baseball League (GRABL). Teams will compete in 12-14 games at designated locations in the Grand Rapids area. Teams will also enter into 4-7 tournaments on weekends through the months of May until July.

We have assembled a great group of gentlemen to coach each Outlaws team, and we're sure you will see that they possess a great knowledge of the game and an even greater passion for coaching the sport. Cost To Play
The West Michigan Outlaws have always to tried to keep the cost to play low. The price varies based on the team and program. 9U runs about $150, while 14U runs approximately $500 - $600. The other age groups fall somewhere between the two. Our cost is much lower than what other area teams charge for the same season!
